Business Fellows
Our Mission
The purpose of the Business Fellows is to create a community at the University of Cincinnati to bridge opportunity gaps by equipping students with skills, connections, and experiences. Our mission is to provide equitable access to mentorship, career development, and personal growth through fellowship and allyship for those who have historically lacked access to such resources.
Support and Give Back
Business Fellows was once a college-supported program that supported students from their first year through graduation. Today, we carry that legacy forward as a student-led organization, and the support that once came through the program now depends on our community. With your help, we can continue creating meaningful opportunities for current and future Fellows.
Our History
Founded in 2011, Business Fellows began as a small cohort created to support historically underrepresented students at Lindner. What started as an effort to improve graduation outcomes, campus involvement, and community grew into a lasting network of Fellows who continue to make an impact long after graduation.
What Happened
In 2025, changes resulting from Ohio Senate Bill 1, which impacted the University of Cincinnati more broadly, meant we could no longer continue in the same form as a college supported program. What once included full-time staff, scholarships, a first-year experience course, study-away opportunities, a dedicated career fair, and more quickly transitioned into a student-led organization.
A New Chapter
Today, the responsibility of carrying the legacy forward rests with us the students. We are doing everything we can to preserve the community and opportunities that shaped generations of Fellows, but we cannot do it alone. Your support helps us continue the Business Fellows story and create those same opportunities for our current fellows and those who come next.
